Jaclyn J. Wilcox

Jaclyn J. Kurth joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. as an associate attorney in 2021. She concentrates her practice on catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence.

She is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin and has recovered more than $150 million on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Kurth has obtained significant verdicts and settlements, including a $27 million jury verdict in 2026 for the family of a mother of six killed in a collision resulting from an unauthorized Chicago Police pursuit. In 2023, she secured a $20 million settlement for a woman who suffered a serious leg injury after being struck and dragged by a CTA bus in downtown Chicago. According to the Illinois Jury Verdict Reporter, the settlement was the highest CTA settlement reported at the time. In her first trial with the firm, Ms. Kurth won a $1.8 million premises liability jury verdict for a woman who was assaulted by an on-duty hotel security guard.

Before becoming an associate, Ms. Kurth worked as a law clerk at the firm for three years, assisting with high-profile cases including a $3 million wrongful death verdict and a record-setting $4.5 million settlement in Walworth County, Wisconsin, for a plaintiff catastrophically injured in a school bus collision.

Ms. Kurth earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from UIC John Marshall Law School in 2020. She was a member of the Moot Court Honors Council and Staff Editor of The John Marshall Law Review. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from Carroll University in 2017 and received the Gordon Folsom English Award.

She is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, Cook County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and McHenry County Bar Association.
