Biography
David S. Weinstein was born in Chicago, illinois in 1965. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Indiana University in 1988, and received his Juris Doctor degree fro the University of Miami School of Law in 1991.
Mr. Weinstein is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, The Lake County Bar Association and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar of the Northern District of Illinois and the Eastern District of Wisconsin and is certified to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit.
Mr. Weinstein is also a member of the Capital Litigation Trial Bar and is certified by the Illinois Supreme Court to be lead counsel in death penalty cases. Mr. Weinstein is a certified arbitrator for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit and is a board member of Youth Conservation Corps in Waukegan.
Mr. Weinstein is one of the most experienced and respected trial attorneys in Lake County who has tried well over 200 Jury Trials and handled many high profile and serious cases including 18 homicides. Mr. Weinstein has also successfully attained many civil verdicts and also handles family law cases.
