Forrest M. Tatel

I would highly recommend Forrest M. Tatel. From the moment I contacted him, he assured me he could help to resolve the issue. He was honest and direct and clearly stated what was to be expected in regards to the outcome of the case. He represented my daughter, who is very young, and was nervous abou...t the court proceedings. He made her feel very comfortable and walked her through the entire process, putting her at ease. He was well prepared and very professional, he made the process so much easier. He is fairly priced and worth every dollar we spent. We couldn’t be happier with the results!

I called Mr. Tatel very late at night and he helped me and a family member through a very difficult and highly stressful situation that lasted about six months. He was with us through the first night till our last court appearance and was always calm, reasoned and thorough in his approach and in his ...explanations to us. If you've never gone through the legal court system it can be a strange and terrifying experience. Mr. Tatel was with us each step of the way acting as our protector and advocate in a very strange and unfriendly environment. I can not say enough good things about the sage advice he gave us and his professionalism. I am positive that without him we would have made errors in our decisions and the outcome would have been very different for us. he was a straight forward lawyer, i liked that about him because it seemed like he wouldn't bs me, but i was completely wrong. First he was really pushy towards getting the complete payment paid off before my DUI case was completed. He also kept pushing the case on and on to the next months because h...e was supposedly going to look at the video that the officer had of me while i was getting arrested to try and see if he could do something for me where i wouldn't get the book thrown at me. Than i finally paid him off before the case was complete and it looked like he didn't want to help me anymore on my case because it was my 2nd dui and he ended up taking any offer the states attorney offered him and i was placed in cook county jail for 2 weeks. Another thing i failed to mention was everytime i called him about my case it seemed like he never remembered me when i told him my name, i had to keep describing myself to him so it would ring a bell. Please do not use this lawyer, he was very horrible at how he handled my case, and he could've did better for me if he actually put some effort into it, He is close to retiring so i don't think he will do anything for you unless it's an easy case.
