Myles George Glasgow

During law school from 1972 through 1975 I worked in the landlord/tenant clinic at the Antioch School of law. From 1975 to 1984 I directed University legal Services , a 501(c)(3) with a staff of Vista and volunteer attorneys helping low income tenants avoid eviction in Washington, DC by forming cooperatives to negotiate the purchase of their apartment buildings with the help of local laws and funding programs.

From 2000 to 2008 I worked in Chicago with attorney Richard Steck whose primary practice was litigating commercial disputes between businesses with nearly daily needs to appear before Judges in the Daley Center in Chicago in both the Law and the Chancery divisions for status, motions, trial preparation and trial calls.

In Philadelphia between 1984 and 1989 I was second chair to attorney Anthony Baratta of the personal injury practice, Baratta and Fennerty, during which we handled successfully to settlement or verdict serious personal injuries often to a client's brain.

In the Spring and Summer of 1974 I was a law student intern who applied to and was chosen to work with the United States Administrative Law Conference directed by later Supreme Court Justice, Antonin Scalia, in Washington, DC when I was assigned the task of interviewing and reporting on administrative procedures used to award economic development grants throughout Illinois. In 2012 I defended a client charged with battery. I helped her p.i. case for 4 yrs
