Nathaniel J. Pomrenze, Esq. is the Principal of Nathaniel J. Pomrenze, Ltd., located in Northbrook, Illinois. Nathaniel represents numerous companies, financial institutions, private developers, condominium associations, investors, landlords, tenants, and private REITs in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and sale of their varied real estate interests. Nathaniel has participated in many multi-million dollar real estate transactions locally and across the country. He has represented both landlords and tenants in the leasing of commercial retail, industrial, and office space.

Nathaniel has represented numerous banks in the Chicago area in connection with small and medium sized mortgage loan transactions. Many of these transactions have involved multi-parcel, cross-collateralized security arrangements as well as borrowings evidenced by industrial revenue bonds.

In addition, Nathaniel has acted as legal counsel in the conversion and/or development of numerous condominiums throughout the City of Chicago as well as in the collar counties. Over the years, these developments have varied in size from the conversion of two-flat apartment buildings to the conversion and development of substantially larger multi-building apartment unit complexes.

Nathaniel’s clients also include many smaller, more entrepreneurial, individuals and closely-held business entities owning real estate such as small strip centers as well as residences acquired out of foreclosure. Mr. Pomrenze has represented such clients in connection with their purchases, sales, leases, construction, management, and financing issues as well as with respect to such clients’ day-to-day general operations. His practice has also included construction, mechanics’ lien, and other real estate-related litigation.

In addition, Nathaniel has represented numerous individuals with their estate planning and probate issues with specific emphasis on creative estate tax planning for individuals, asset protection planning, estate planning for non-traditional families, and premarital agreements, cohabitation agreements and domestic partnership agreements.
