Stay away from this lawyer! He colluded with my ex to write the final divorce decree and never explained what exactly is in the document. He does not care about his clients, just wants to make money. Puts on a good front to act as if he cares. Please note that all the good reviews were mostly from ye...ars ago.

The best attorney in all of IL and possibly the US. Very level headed and can get things done smoothly and efficiently. Had an attorney prior that took thousands and did not accomplish a single item. Michael accomplished everything and did everything he promised. Protected my father’s rights in the... parenting agreement, settled and negotiated a successful divorce settlement. Rest easy when he is at the driver seat, cause you have the best. Quick thinker and always 10 steps ahead of the other attorney. If you hire him, you have the best. If you’re going against him, be very scared. Don’t try and play hardball, you will lose.

If I were allowed to give zero stars I would! Michael is all talk and will not help you. In fact, he met with my ex-husband while he was representing me in my divorce case. He then asked me for full payment, and once I wrote the check, I never heard from him again. He left so many issues in my cas...e unsettled, and I had to hire another lawyer to fix the mess he left me with. He is unethical!

I'm a dad with two boys. In the state of Illinois it's very challenging as a father to get custody of your children; or so I'm told from a long list of resources despite my ex's absence in our children's lives. I firmly believe I had God's blessings who directed me to Mike. Mike stood by me, offered ...sound advise (sometimes like a big brother would) and delivered. He didn't alway tell me what I was hoping to hear either but advised me of what I needed to hear. There are no words that can describe my gratitude but will say it was worth every cent. My divorce started off with an agreement between myself and my soon to be ex. Then when I received the papers she was asking unjustly for more than we had agreed. Enter Michael Weiman. He came on the scene and assured me that all would be resolved in my children's best interest. After all, that has always been my biggest concern. My ex was very difficult; coming up with all kinds of stories and lies and asking for more than she was entitled. These accusations were very upsetting to me. Whenever I would become emotionally attached with the accusations and lies, Michael would be there to give me the legal side to keep my emotions in check. As a father it seemed like an uphill battle. In the end, Michael came through for my children. Now they have all that is needed. They have not lost time with their Father, and have an environment that gives them the best chance to succeed at what ever they choose.
