Biography
In 2018, I got one of the largest known workers compensation wage-differential settlements in Illinois ($1.52 million dollars) for my client. Also in 2018, I got the largest dog bite settlement ($555,000) in Illinios involving a fingertip amputation. I settled a post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) case for $775,000, which is the largest reported PTSD settlement in Lake County. My $450,000 shoulder injury settlement from an auto accident case is also the largest reported shoulder settlement for Lake County. I also practice in Wisconsin and fought for a $975,000 auto accident settlement for a client with a herniated disk injury in his neck.
I am rated as a "Top Lawyers in Illinois" 2017 and 2018. Chicago Tribune has written that my "pioneering legal theory" on valuing the lost enjoyment of life "is credited with winning millions of dollars for people severely injured ... or killed by the negligent conduct of others."
Most of the cases I handle involve serious injuries with surgery or multiple surgeries. Examples of the injuries we deal with are herniated disks, torn meniscus, rotator cuff tears, fractured wrists, elbows and ankles, torn labrum, impingement syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other serious injuries.
The types of cases we handle involve workers compensation, automobile/truck/motorcycle/bicycle/pedestrian accidents, dog bites, wrongful death and other injury cases where someone else was at fault.

Here is a little of my background. My grandparents came to America from Italy with a few clothes and a couple of dollars. My parents taught me the values of hard work, discipline, problem solving and giving everything I could, to succeed. I was raised in New Jersey and came to Chicago to John Marshall Law School (now part of University of Illinois at Chicago). I have practiced workers compensation and personal injury law for more than 35 years. I have taught other lawyers, written many published articles, and am a past chairman of the Legal/Medical Committee of the Lake County Bar Association. I have been written about in Newsweek Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, and have been interviewed on radio and tv several times.

I got hurt at work. Drove for amazon. Hurt in the summer of 2020. Went thru months and months of therapies, dr. visits and workman's comp insurance claims . Finally had surgery. More therapy. Then released.. on august of 2022. Amazon does not have their own drivers. Private companies hire drive...
