Robert Lee Herst

After a long and rewarding career with Kraft Foods during which I held several positions (including Associate General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Chief Counsel for a major business division), I have opened my private practice, the Law Office of Robert L. Herst, LLC. My firm provides counsel to businesses of all sizes, focusing on the areas of commercial contracts and corporate compliance as well as business counsel services.

In regard to commercial contracts, I provide counsel on purchase and sale agreements, across a broad range of products and services. In the area of corporate compliance, I assist companies in the development and implementation of risk assessment procedures as well as compliance training programs. In addition, I can help businesses with the construction and maintenance of company codes of conduct. For small and medium size companies which do not employ a General Counsel on staff, I can fill the void by providing these business counsel services. Specifically, I will oversee and evaluate legal matters for proper handling, coordinate with outside counsel, and handle other sensitive company matters.
