John Gynn helped to get an expensive ticket dismissed. John was so prepared that I only missed one hour of work for the entire process of Appearing in court. He presented my case, they called my name and dismissed my ticket. Totally professional and I would not hesitate to hire him again if needed....

John Gynn cuts an imposing figure in court, and speaks softly to as never intimidate or give cause to question his intentions or actions. It was this overall demeanor coupled with his knowledge that led to a total victory in a highly-contested family law case where he simply outsmarted, outplayed, a...nd outmatched the opposing counsel. He came into the situation dealt a bad hand. The third lawyer on the case and filling in for a woefully inexperienced pro se litigant (me), John took the cards and played the hand. He never guaranteed victory and yet he never made the client (me) feel like he could not find the path to get there. In a family law case with hundreds and hundreds of docket entires, smears and long history, John focused on the elements of the issues at stake. He allowed the client (me) to expound theories, provide insight, and generally steer the beginning of a plan, but he never allowed any plan to leave his path to victory. In the courtroom, he came prepared and inserted himself into the fight to first attempt to undo some of the previous mistakes of the court, then quickly moved on to establish his plan's dominance. He coolly handled objections - winning some, losing some - and never losing his focus on his plotted path. After direct examination of his witness, he calculated whether or not to object to many of opposing counsel's questions during cross-examination or to allow the Court to judge the interplay. He was able to thread the needle on objections and ensure the cross-examination did not derail his ultimate objective. Closing arguments were suitably handled and then, after no deliberation, the Judge ruled in John Gynn's client's favor (mine), in no small part due John's single-minded focus on the objective. I apologize for the long-windedness. Maybe I should have summarized it in two words: "Mission Accomplished" I recommend John Gynn's services and would use them again were there a fit.
