My legal experience includes developing patent portfolios for early stage companies, conducting due diligence investigations for acquisition and licensing, conducting clearance and freedom-to-operate opinions for product development and commercialization, conducting patentability searches and opinions on new technologies, and conducting general intellectual property litigation. I advise and counsel clients IP protection/enforcement strategy and on general intellectual property matters to develop a comprehensive and cost-effective intellectual property strategy to be competitive in the marketplace.

I draft and prosecute domestic and international patent applications in the fields of biotechnology, nanotechnology, medical devices, and mechanical arts, including genomics, peptides, cardiovascular stents, vascular grafts, diagnostic systems and methods, drug delivery systems, optical imaging systems, ultrasound imaging systems, catheter based imaging systems, vacuum deposition processes, nanoparticles, nanocomposites, MEMS, polymers, oxygenator systems, RFID systems, composite materials, orthopedic technologies, e-commerce, and business methods. 

I review and prepare license agreements, technology agreements, confidential and consulting transactions, clinical trial applications, and I advise clients on the same.

I conduct IP litigation; I draft cease & desist letters; I prepare & analyze claim charts; I conduct mediations and settlement conferences.

I oversee, manage, and train associate attorneys, law clerks, and summer interns, and conduct general administrative duties and client development strategies
