I have been litigating all aspects of civil law and some areas of criminal law for my entire career. I have tried, and won, contract disputes, divorces, mechanics lien issues, personal injury and property damage issues. This is my favorite area of the law. Although I believe in the maxim that a bad settlement is better than a good verdict, it is still important to take into consideration intangibles such as the cost of the litigation to the client viz a viz the possible outcomes.

I have been representing clients in divorce and separation, although mostly divorce, for my entire career. I have settled most, as most wind up settling, but I have also gone to trial where necessary.

While I have represented three corporations in Chapter 11 proceedings, the balance of my bankruptcy practice has been representing individuals in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases. This includes fighting adversaries filed against my clients.
