Biography
After 11 years of practicing family law I have decided several years ago to go "litigation sober". I am committed to helping my family law clients resolve their family conflicts outside of the courthouse because the litigation process is so destructive to famlies. Resolving family conflict outside of court does not mean everyone is getting along, it means that everyone involved values retaining control over their major life decisions, want to avoid having strangers (judges) make their life decisions for them, and want to preserve what assets they have for themselves and their loved one rather than losing them in a lengthy divorce process that only enriches the attorneys
Giving up divorce litigation has enabled me to add Elder Law and Estate Planning to my practice. I focus my Estate Planning and Elder Law practice on helping my clients not only avoid probate, but plan for the impact of the cost of assisted living or nursing home care should it become necessary in the future. The earlier you plan for the possibilty of long term care costs the more options you will have if the need arises.
I truly appreciate the opportunity to help people find solutions to their problems in the fields of Elder Law, Estate Planning and Family Law. I am proud that my clients receive genuine and tangible value for the cost of my legal services and do not regard my fees as a necessary evil. My fees are an investment in ther future with demonstrable returns on their investment.
