Paulette Michelle Gray

Attorney Paulette M. Gray is a partner at Gray & Gray LLC in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and has limited her practice to family law for nearly 30 years.  Attorney Gray is a Past President of the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.  Attorney Gray continues to be active in the Illinois Chapter of the AAML having served as an Officer within the Chapter as well as being on its Board of Managers for several years.  She previously served as Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association Family Law Section Council (2008-09) during which time she testified in Springfield in support of pending legislation relative to attorney fees.  That same year, Attorney Gray served as President of the McHenry County Bar Association (2008-09).  In addition to being active in the Illinois AAML Chapter, Attorney Gray is a member of the Illinois Appellate Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the McHenry County Bar Association.  Attorney Gray is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  Attorney Gray is a frequent lecturer on a variety of family law topics for numerous organizations and has authored several works, examples of which include the 2006, 2010 and 2013 supplements to IICLE’s Child Custody Litigation handbook regarding the Supreme Court custody rules.  Attorney Gray is also active with Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County, and served on its Board from 2016-2023 (including serving as Board Chair from 2021-2022).
