I'm a criminal defense trial lawyer who has first chaired dozens of jury trials to verdict in the last 6 years. That is on top of the hundreds of bench trials and contested hearings decided by a judge alone that I have conducted since beginning my career in McHenry County in 2015. I am now a resident of Crystal Lake, Illinois and have made McHenry County my home. I am committed to advocating for my clients to protect their rights from the government throughout all stages of the criminal process. I am also a strong advocate for victims of domestic violece in order of protection proceedings for petitioners and respondents. I hired a specific lawyer through a law firm . But had Daniel Nold showing up for court for my case . He really didn’t make time to go over my case and what the plan was . Replied last August 02, 2023Couple things. I'm sorry that we had a poor experience over a year ago when I was with my former firm. I have no control over what my bosses told you regarding who would actually be with you in Court. Part of my job, as the lawyer in Court, was to collect attorneys fees that were required to be paid as a part of representation. These discussions are never comfortable, especially when somebody that you have not met is asking you to pay your bill. I hope that you were able to successfully resolve your case to your liking. I appreciate your feedback and will do better in the future.

Beyond thankful
I had gotten myself into a not so great situation, and was facing a number of tickets- not to mention a suspended license. Somehow, Mr. Nold was able to get everything dropped. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome, he is incredible. Very highly recommend!
