THANK YOU FOR READING MY REVIEW !!! I have had the PLEASURE, & also ENJOYED THE BENEFITS, in Working DIRECTLY WITH MR. Michael Poper, & his Firm !!! Mr Poper has Successfully Defended me, & HAS "ALWAYS" applied the "HUMANITY - SIDE", of my being his Client, & what was in the "BEST INTERESTS", o...f a "Broken Family" situation that involved my children, & their Financial Present & Futures - Against a "S H A R K" of an Ex-Wife, that has been working VERY HARD to try to DESTROY ME !!! I have been working with Mr Poper, & his Firm since 1999, or 16 CONSECUTIVE YEARS NOW !!! I would MOST DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM, & NOT ALLOW MY "to - be" Ex - Spouse to hire him FIRST !!!! YOU DEFINITELY WANNA BE "WITH HIM", & NOT "UP AGAINST HIM". Further - HE IS NOT A "SHARK" OF A LAWYER, THAT WILL HELP YOU TO DESTROY YOUR opponent in Court - BUT IF YOU WANT AN INTELLIGENT, VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ATTORNEY, with "Appropriate & Professional" Courtroom behavior, THAT KNOWS HOW TO "NOT UPSET" THE JUDGE - THEN THIS IS YOUR FIRM !!! THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO "CONFLICTS OF INTEREST", WHATSOEVER HERE !!! I HAVE ONLY KNOWN Mr. Poper, as my Divorce Attorney, & have been VERY PLEASED with his Defense of me !!! MOST SINCERELY, Glen C

After making verbal promises about petitions he would file on my behalf to get me child support, leveling of the playing field, and other issues I agreed to switch to this lawyer. I was nervous to do so as he was very abrupt and "rough around the edges" in personality during our consultation. Howev...er, a friend that I trusted had "heard good things" about Mr. Poper. Once he ran my charge card through and had my retainer that was basically the last semi-kind and personal attention I received from him. Mr. Poper failed to file any petitions on my behalf, missed several filing deadlines, did not return my 99% of my phone calls or emails, and treated me very unprofessionally and downright rudely in court. He also overbilled for his time such as charging me his full rate of $350 an hour for work that his paralegal performed. After putting up with this nonsense for nearly four months, I left a message with his secretary to have him call me because I was unhappy with the way he was handling my case and treating me. As usual, he never returned the call, but sent his notice to withdraw the next day. This left me unrepresented in a divorce and custody case two months before the trial. Later, I found out he never bothered to get my files from my former attorney after agreeing to represent me, and he showed up to court two times after I paid him the retainer telling the judge he wasn't ready to file his appearance yet (unbeknownst to me). Do not use this lawyer. If you are a cash cow he will probably be at your beck and call. However, if you are a person with little income and assets he will use up your retainer without good cause and then dump you when you need him most.
