I first came to Ms. Goddard after experience with another attorney, who played on the high emotions of the divorce situation. There were some parts of the divorce that I found frustrating, but as time passed, I realized that those were all from my own decisions and expectations, and invariably contr...ary to Ms. Goddard's professional advice. Since then, she's handled two real estate transactions through their various difficult negotiations to completely satisfactory conclusions (and maybe even a tiny traffic ticket). Somewhere in between those transactions was a large insurance claim matter that was concluded with gratifying speed by her associate, Ms. Malmquist. As I read the review by anonymous, I recall the anger and frustration "the system" engenders, and hope the passage of time allows for putting aside the hostility. My experience with Ms. Goddard's legal services has been as comforting as I've come to believe it could possibly be.

Sandy assisted me with a real estate transaction. Aside from being absolutely proffesional, Sandy was very informative about the entire process from start to finish. She adressed every issue on the inspection report and made sure I was credited every cent. I know she performed a thorough research on ...my property, which is rare. Sandy will go out of her way to find what's in her client's best intrest. After working with other attorneys in the past, Sandy really stands out because I think she actually cares. Hands down, an attorney you want on your side.

Sandy was not at all what she representEd herself to be during my free consultation. She explained that I should be victorious, as she has had great success in McHenry County. Once she received my $3,500 retainer things changed. Sandy allowed several continuances from defendants attorney, often sid...ed with them and tried to persuade me to give in to my former husband's demands. I needed to be my own advocate and do my own legal research to defend myself. She slandered me to the defendant and then submit a legal order demanding payment of $500/mo. for my balance until paid in full. This has been the worst experience in my life.
