Biography
Max Borushek is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Chicago, Illinois office. Max brings a strong background in legal research, writing, and litigation support to his practice. His experience working alongside attorneys in both law firm and deposition settings has helped him develop a detail-oriented approach to his work and an understanding of the importance of careful preparation when assisting clients with challenging legal matters.
Max earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where he received a Certificate in Health Care Compliance and earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Health Care Compliance and Regulations. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of the E-Pulse Health Blog and as a Teaching Assistant for Health Care Compliance. Max earned his Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois.
Prior to joining the firm, Max gained experience assisting with litigation, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and legal research. He has worked on matters involving a variety of areas of law and has experience preparing legal documents, organizing trial exhibits, researching case law, and coordinating with attorneys throughout the litigation process.
Max is also active in the legal community through several professional organizations, including the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and American Bar Association. He values clear communication and thorough preparation and strives to provide clients with attentive, dependable support throughout their legal matters.
