A graduate from the University of North Carolina School of Law, Hannah Garst started her career by clerking for the Staff Attorney's Office at the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. As a Staff Law Clerk, she worked on appeals involving criminal law, employment law, habeas corpus motions and petitions, immigration law, and social security law. Following her clerkship, Hannah started her own practice where she has concentrated on criminal matters, both in the state and federal courts. Hannah volunteers at the Cabrini Green Legal Aid Expungement Help Desk and at the Willow Creek Church Legal Aid Ministry. Hannah is currently licensed in Illinois and holds bar memberships in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern District of Illinois, and the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
