Trustworthy, Honest, and Knowledgeable Lawyer

After speaking with several lawyers who told me that I didn't have a case, I called Joan with very little expectation of any different legal advice from what I had already received. To my surprise, Joan was encouraging and immediately engaged in my case. She had a specific plan on how to move forward..., and she made potentially complicated issues seem simple and easily dealt with. Joan and her team were more than willing to answer any question, were consistent in communicating any pertinent information to me, and I was always kept aware of anything happening with my case. She was reassuring and supportive throughout, attentive to any concerns I may have had. The outcome to this case was exactly as Joan had said it would be, and I will be forever grateful that to have retained her as my lawyer. If I ever need a lawyer again, Joan Cook will be the one that I call.

Joan and her team did wonderful

Joan and all of her team did a wonderful job helping my husband with his case. They were on top.of everything and ultimately helped us come to a agreement that works for all parties involved. I would recommend her for any difficult case. Overall she was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Thank ...you Joan

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
