Straightforward DUI Defense Lawyer

Mrs. Lockwood is a skilled DUI defense attorney who worked diligently to reduce my sentence for a felony DUI. She listened to my side of things and offered calm feedback, which helped lesson the stress of dealing with impending jail time and treatment sentence. While on pretrial release, Sarah, assis...ted with obtaining a travel permit to see family out of state. Through status hearings and continuances I was able to save up enough money to support my wife and son for when I went away. She reviewed all angles of my DUI case and we decided that I didn't have a good chance of taking it to trial. As such, Sarah worked on a plea agreement with the prosecution and I was sentenced to 13 months DOC and 3 years probation, which included 6 months at the WATCh program and most of the remaining on conditional release and probation. This sentence was far less then the maximum possible sentence and I did not go to prison. After two and a half years from my release from WATCh I was facing revocation of my 3 years DOC suspended/probationary sentence. Sarah once again went to bat for me and after a year of court hearings, she helped to get my good time/street time counted toward the 3 year revocation, time served and continued probation! Sarah believes in upholding the law as it applies to police conduct and defending Constitutional Rights of people she represents. Sarah had the right amount of matter of fact attitude and grace to advocate on my behalf. I strongly recommend Mrs. Sarah Lockwood as a DUI defense attorney.

Very good

I hired Sarah for a DUI case. I was, basically, in an extremely bad situation. The disposition of my case was far, and I mean far better than I ever expected. Sarah is the real deal, she's very good at what she does. I'm sure there are other good DUI lawyers in Missoula, however I doubt any other one... could have helped me as much as she did. She saved my ass big time, I honestly would have paid twice what she charged had I known the outcome. Ive never recommended anyone for anything more than I could recommend Sarah for a DUI case.

Competent, reliable, and thorough.

Sarah did an excellent job counseling my husband and I when we were hit with a lawsuit. She went above and beyond in helping us prepare documents (which seem to have sent the plaintiff running for the woods). She takes a genuine, active interest and the time to inform you of various options available... to you, helping you feel informed and in control of an otherwise murky and intimidating situation. Your search for legal assistance is over. Cannot recommend her strongly enough.
