It depends. It will say in your charging documents, but it is usually, under $1,500 it is a misdemeanor. Over $1,500 and it is a felony.

support and maintenance are ruled by statute. There is some wiggle room that can also be negotiated. Do it right and hire an attorney to do it...

you won't necessarily lose your old bond, the court may use the old one for the new charges. Best idea is to hire an attorney to iron it out.

It is not required. There are certain things you need to prove to the judge to be approved. There are free resources at most courthouses for this.

it is absolutely allowed, and if approved by the judge there isn't much you can do about it. They will assign you a 3rd.
