This case was a product liability claim stemming from the Bronco II rollover defect. Mr. Grisi's client, a 26 year old man, was riding in the back of a Ford Bronco II along with two other passengers an ... d the driver on the interstate. Due to the Bronco II's rollover defect, the driver lost control, and the car rolled over 3 times while travelling 60 mph. The rear passengers were ejected from the vehicle and died. The estates of the two deceased persons and the driver sued Ford for personal injury and wrongful death, alleging the Bronco II suffered from a design defect. The jury found Ford negligent and awarded Mr. Grisi's client and the two other plaintiffs $17.5 million in damages.
