Matt is an associate attorney focusing his practice in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, while maintaining a general practice.
Matt received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of North Dakota School of Law where he was the Symposium Editor for the North Dakota Law Review. While in law school, Matt served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Shon Hastings, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the District of North Dakota, was a member of the Randy H. Lee American Inns of Court, and worked as a law clerk for our firm. Matt attended North Dakota State University for his undergraduate education, receiving a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice, and a minor in English with an emphasis on writing studies.
Following law school, Matt completed a one-year judicial clerkship for the Honorable Lisa Fair McEvers, Justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court.
Matt is licensed to practice law in North Dakota and Minnesota. In his free time, Matt enjoys playing broomball, running, cycling, golfing, hunting, and watching NDSU football.
