Rexford Hagg

A graduate of Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and the University of Oklahoma, Rexford A. Hagg was admitted to the Oklahoma and South Dakota Bars in 1982. His interest in law started was sparked by an excellent law professor that taught torts. Having grown up in a blue-collar family, he was interested in advocating for injured people who may not have had any experience with legal issues. He found it extremely rewarding and therefore focused his legal career to personal injury cases. He tries to discover the human connection that a jury can relate to by spending significant time with the client to understand how the injury has really affected them. His other practice areas include workers compensation law, lobbying, wrongful death, and contract litigation, among others. Concurrently, he has been a city attorney at Box Elder in South Dakota since 1984. He’s active in his local community and was elected into the South Dakota House of Representatives and was Speaker of the House from 1997-1998.
