Client was sued by commercial landlord for nonpayment of rent and leaving space. Client alleged landlord's agent made untruthful statements about occupancy rate of space, foot traffic, etc to induce c ... lient to sign lease. Landlord then filed for summary judgment alleging breach of contract.
OUTCOME: After I was hired, I convinced the court to throw out the $83,000.00 judgment against my client and grant a new trial in the case. Case later settled for considerably less.
