Beth received her degree from the University of South Dakota where she graduated with Honors with a double major in political science and psychology. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Beth went to University of South Dakota Law School and graduated with her juris doctrine and Masters in Public Administration. After graduation, Beth worked at the South Dakota Attorney General's Office, first working on appeals then as the Chief Legal Counsel for the Consumer Protection Division, where she handled everything from civil judgments to criminal prosecutions. Most notably, Beth argued State v. Toben in front of the South Dakota Supreme Court during the October 2013 term. Beth then moved to Sioux Falls and practiced family law for three years before prosecuting abuse and neglect matters at the Minnehaha County State's Attorney's Office. Beth returned to private practice in August 2018 as family law is where her passion lies.
Beth's main area of expertise is adoption, custody and divorce cases. Beth uses her psychology degree to understand where people are coming from and why they take the actions they take to help direct them to make the right choices in whatever their situation is.
Beth is licensed in South Dakota state court, United States Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States District Court of South Dakota. Beth is a member of the South Dakota State Bar, Second Circuit Bar Association and Women in Law.

Overcharged
Beth overcharged me multiple times while working on my case and was not very good in court. When I hired a new attorney he resolved my matter quickly and used information Beth ignored to our advantage in court.
