N/AOUTCOME: Able to resolve the case and got Mrs. Chen the full $100,000 policy.
Uninsured Motorist Case - On July 15, 2015, Mrs. Chen was driving north on I 75 She was rear ended by a motorist who fled the scene in the case we came in I insured motorist case. She suffered serious ... injuries to her neck back and hip. Two years prior to that she was also rear-ended and suffered similar injuries. Her car was a total loss. She was represented by a prominent local law firm on the first case and the case was settled for $60,000. Just two months before the statute was going to run on her second case the same firm dropped her as a client and did not want to take the case. She came to me and I took the case. This case was complicated by the fact that she had previous similar injuries from the previous accident and the car was not totaled but only suffered $6000 damage. She had $100,000 uninsured motorist coverage maximum. Suit was filed and following a year of extensive depositions interrogatories and “ independent medical examinations”.
