Robert A Woodke

  I have been in practice in Bemidji since 1978.  I have been a long time member of the Bemidji Lion's Club, and am a 100% Past President of the club.  I currently serve on the Bemijdi Lion's Club's board of directors.  I am also currently the Vice President of Program for the Voyageurs Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  I also serve on the School Board for my local church.   

   I enjoy woodworking, camping, canoeing, bicycling, hiking, boating, fishing and hunting when I am not volunteering or working. 

   I am a published author having contributed chapters to the following multi-author books:    Flying Solo, a Survival Guide for Solo Lawyers, ABA Pub., 1984; second edition , 1994;  Going to Trial, ABA Pub., 1989, and second edition 1999; Personal Injury Handbook, James Publishing, 1991.  In addition I have written a number of magazine articles and continuing legal education pieces.

   I am Wood Badge trained and have been on staff of the 2015 Wood Badge Course.  I was the director of the 2015 Scouting Conference (sometimes known as University of Scouting).  

    I was honored with the Northwest Minnesota Legal Services Award in 1987.

    I am active in the Beltrami County Bar Association and have previously served as treasurer and president of that organization.  I am also active in the Minnesota State Bar Association where I have chaired the Solo Small Firm Section and serve on the planning committee of the Solo and Small Firm Success Symposium.
