Biography
Being a lawyer in a small town means that you must know how to handle a wide variety of legal issues- rather than simply specializing in one narrow area of the law. I am well suited to this reality.
In my career I have worked for a federal and state judge, a government regulatory agency, a general counsel's office of a major university, a midsize law firm and a large law firm. While in law school, I served as a family mediator, an advisor to start up non-profits, a volunteer helping domestic abuse victims seek protection, and an advocate for inmates in federal prison attempting to overturn their wrongful convictions.
The variety of my experience combined with my rural upbringing and local roots allows me to serve my clients and add value in their legal matters.
