OUTCOME: The Minnesota Court of Appeals ordered venue transferred from Hennepin County to Kandiyohi County.

Plaintiff alleged venue was proper in Hennepin County because Trustee was appointed in Hennepin County. The motor vehicle accident occurred in Kandiyohi County. We filed a Petition for Writ of Mandam ... us and argued that the case arose out of Kandiyohi County, not Hennepin County, for purposes of the applicable venue statute. The Minnesota Court of Appeals agreed and granted the Petition for Writ of Mandamus.
