In this case, I represented a hydroblast technician who had two of his fingers severed in an industrial accident when the split ring from a heat exchanger fell on them. I filed suit against the compan ... y responsible for disassembling the heat exchanger. In the suit, I sough recovery of past and future medical expenses, past and future disfigurement, lost wages and future loss of wage earning capacity, physical pain, mental anguish and loss of consortium. After completing discovery and designating expert witnesses, the case was mediated by Perry Neichoy of Beaumont, and it settled for a confidential and satisfactory amount.

OUTCOME: The case settled for a confidential amount.

This case involved the death of a young man who was ejected from an SUV during a rollover and subsequently struck and killed by a BJ Services truck as he sat on the shoulder of a service road awaiting ... the ambulance. Suit was filed asserting wronfgul death claims on behalf of the parents, and a survival claim on behalf of the estate. After discovery was complete and experts designated, the case was mediated by Zant Woodull and settled for a confidential amount.

OUTCOME: The case settled for a confidential amount.

In this case, I represented a worker who was injured when a storage vessel suspended on a chain fell and severed the end of his foot. As a result, he is forced to wear a prosthetic. I filed suit for ... future medical expenses (non-subscriber case and employer had paid past medical expenses), lost wages and loss of future wage earning capacity, disfigurement, past and future physical impairment, and physical pain and mental anguish. After designating experts, we were able to resolve the claim at mediation with Judge Jim Parsons for a confidential and satisfactory amount.

I represented an individual who was rendered quadraplegic when he was shot by a member of a notorious prison gang who, it was alleged, had been misclassified and allowed to stay in a halfway house used ... primarily for less hardened offenders. Additionally allegations included that the facility did not have proper security measures in place, and had not properly recoved the gang member from the facility after previous disciplinary infractions.
