Helped client deal with parent's estate, which included both a large amount of liquid assets and a large Medicaid recovery claim that resulted from benefits the parent received before receiving a large ... inheritance from another family member and going off Medicaid. I was able to ask the Medicaid agency to provide evidence that they had complied with the requirements they had to follow to be entitled to their claimed recovery; they could not do so and dropped the claim entirely.
