The worst

This person is a terrible person she is lazy and doesn’t care about her clients at all doesn’t answer the phone or communicate

Run and find yourself another attorney

Doesn’t communicate Wasn’t prepared Didn’t prep me for my temp order Didn’t ask my spouse any question Didn’t come with fact, no discovery was done I didn’t know how much damage she had done until I hired a new lawyer who had to do so many clean up work within a week. She even refused to t...ransfer my information. Even my ex (the defendant) said your lawyer really messed you up

She made me win

She was spouse’s lawyer. She came unprepared, it was obvious that my wife had the upper hand but thanks to her lawyer, she lost. She didn’t prep her. Didn’t discuss with her. Even told the judge she has too many cases. She didn’t ask me questions. She threw the case for her client.

Poor Performance

When I hired Dana she made it clear that she did not want to nickel and dime me. I told her I was more concerned with the case being handled right over being nickeled and dimed. In saying that, I feel like the representation was cheap and you get what you pay for. After I hired Dana communication was... so difficult I drove to the office just to get some clarification of a couple things. I was also told how easy my case was, that there wouldn't be any issues and this is mostly formalities. The day before my hearing DANA told me to show up early to her office (the hearing was over video conference due to COVID) and we would rehearse the case together in person. I show about an hour early just to find out about 15 minutes before my hearing started that she wasn't going to show up and decided to do the hearing from her home. I was not too happy about this. When my hearing finally started, Dana was unprepared. My child support case involves three different states and she forgot what state my divorce was in which was extremely relevant to what was being argued. Luckily it seemed the judge was so frustrated with both lawyers she didn't make a ruling so more research could be done. This gave me time to hire another lawyer. After the hearing I told Dana I felt like the it went terrible and I was not pleased with it being pushed back. I tried communicating with the paralegal shortly after the hearing for six weeks to get an update, the first email she said she would get back to me with the info but never did. The second email I never got a response at all. I have since then hired a new lawyer. My case is a child support dispute. Not a dispute on the amount, because no amount has been set, but my kids mom saying should should not have to pay anything. I truly think the judge could have made a ruling that day if the proper argument was prepared and presented saving me time and money. I think if you have a simple case and you just need someone to navigate the legal system, Dana might be ok for you. If you have a matter that is going to meet resistance in the court, remember you get what you pay for.

I do pride myself on not wanting to nickel and dime my clients.  There was nothing to do in your case after the last hearing other than wait on the Attorney General and review your orders.  The Court did not recess the hearing because I didn't have your state of divorce memorized.  The Court recessed your hearing to give the lawyers time to get all of the prior orders together.  I'm sorry you were disappointed and wish you the best. She will bill you for more money

Will not recommend her as she didn't want to take our case to trial. She just wanted us to settle. It's as if she is scared to get up there. We paid her upfront and then after our plea was given and a month later she bills us for more money..

I represented this woman's son in a criminal matter, he was an adult and chose to accept a plea deal from the prosecutor. I regularly go to court for contested matters, including trials. My office incorrectly billed this client for mileage and then corrected the error. We did not ask for any payment beyond the initial retainer, as agreed.
