Steven Kiyoshi Murakami

Mr. Murakami was courteous and professional in his office setting, but on more than one occasion after I'd hired him, I called the office regarding a couple of fairly straightforward questions, and he never returned my calls. I understand attorneys are busy, but he could have at least had his parale...gal or other staff call me to try to help if he couldn't. Also, he was unable to appear in court with me, and had a colleague appear in his place. I just wish he would have called ahead to notify me of this to see if I wanted to wait for him, because I was used to him instead of having someone I had never met before show up in his place. The colleague was professional in court, and things went fairly well at the time. However, a debtor that I thought had been dissolved have been showing up on paper that should not be. I realize the legal landscape can be ever-changing and this event may not be the fault of Mr. Murakami.

I have retained Mr. Murakami for several years and have been impressed by his reliability and willingness to help in both transactions and legal matters. He has been quick to respond and maintained open communication throughout all of my years using his law firm. He is the only lawyer that I trust to... handle my issues.

Horrible experience, gladly took my money and filed the bankruptcy. When a question came up - it turned out the information Steve Murakami gave me during the time of my filing was wrong. Steve got very upset when I pointed out the mistake he had made and dropped me as a client because of his mistake ...claiming now there was a "conflict of interest" which makes no sense, I ask a question and somehow that is a conflict of interest? This was all after I paid him all his fees, etc. Now I have questions after the bankruptcy and he refuses to help.
