I had the pleasure of having David Ewens represent me on my social security case during the fall of 2015. While court can often be a very long and exhausting process, Mr. Ewens was a huge comfort to my family and I while continually keeping us updated and informed via regular communication. Mr. Ewen...s worked diligently on my case, was always timely, prepared, and listened to everything I had to say during the entire process. I highly reccomend Mr. Ewens!

I found David after the professionals said my case didn't have enough to support my disability. David believed in me and asked the right questions and challenged the court. He and his staff treated me with the upmost respect and kept me informed of what needed to be done. he gave me a chance to rebui...ld my life after a devastating accident and now I have found a way to work off disability and progress in the future. When I first meet Mr. Ewens, he greeted me with a hand shake and a smile. I was looking for someone to help with a disability claim. I had already dismissed another agency, so was very reluctant to start over. But Mr. Ewens made me feel comfortable, he listened to my case, asked a lot of qu...estions, and finally said that he felt he could help me. He spent a lot of time with me getting the details and walking me through every part of the process. He made sure that I understood what was happening and all of my options. His office staff a lot too - answered any of my questions, helped me gather the information I needed, and even organized the file before returning the originals! Being a disability claim, there was a long wait before the hearing, but Mr. Ewens kept me updated and often checked in on me. On the day of the hearing, I was so nervous. He assured me that everything would be fine, and it was. He had all of the medical records submitted in advance, he was familiar with my file and was prepared to answer all of the questions. My case was approved and I couldn't be more pleased with the work he did for me. I would recommend David Ewens to any of my friends.

Very poor client updates. Never returns phone calls. Dodges clients by always being either "preparing, in court, or on vacation". In order to even get David J. Ewens to return phone calls, and/or to talk to for questions regarding my case, I have to ALWAYS deal with his "secretary". To put in i...n the best light possible, if you want proper, cordial, knowledgable legal help DO NOT HIRE DAVID J. EWENS. If and/or when my legal issue is EVER resolved, I and all of my family, friends and acquaintances plan to bombard the State Bar of Minnesota Attorney Grievance Committee and do whatever has to be done so that NO ONE has to ever deal with this inadequate representative of law, and experience the anguish this man has imposed upon myself. At best, he has ruined the last few years of my life, and only through the kindness of family and my various Doctor's have I been able to survive physically and financially. Please do not make the same mistake that I did when I hired David J. Ewens.
