In addition to assisting her clients with their technology licensing and other transactional needs, Kate has focused her practice on representation of regulated entities subject to Federal privacy regulations such as HIPAA and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. 

Prior to attending law school, Kate was a systems engineer who designed and coded software applications. Consequently, she is able to understand clients' technology at a level of detail that provides depth in her assessment of both the business and legal considerations for the technology license.
