Biography
Mr. Schnitker is founder and owner of Schnitker Law Office, P.A., and Professional Redevelopment Resources, Inc. His duties include both management of day-to-day business operations and providing legal and consulting services. Mr. Schnitker founded Schnitker Law Office, P.A., in 1993 after graduating from Hamline Law School, in St. Paul.
His specific working experience involves acquisition and relocation laws and regulations, as well as housing and redevelopment activities. Mr. Schnitker has been involved in thousands of commercial, industrial, single-family and multi-family acquisitions and relocation projects and has worked on dozens of development projects from site acquisition through construction.
Mr. Schnitker knows how government works as he has served on the Champlin City Council and is a past member of the Champlin Planning Commission. He was president of the MN Eminent Domain Institute from 2011 to 2015. Mr. Schnitker is a past President of the Champlin Economic Development Authority and Commissioner on the Metropolitan Council’s Metropolitan Parks and Open Space Commission. He is a past member of the American Indian Law and Policy Research Institute based at Hamline University School of Law and the Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Alliance. Schnitker has been appointed by the District Court to act as a referee in eminent domain matters and has been appointed to serve in various capacities by three different governors.
Kirk lives with his wife Michele with 3 wonderful sons in Champlin, MN and he spends his time off at the lake, traveling & hunting & fishing.

Our Catholic Church – 2004
Our office aggressively pursued the church claim and the claim for its priest and in the end obtained benefits in excess of $130,000.00. This was all done based on our knowledge of the law and without any litigation.
Mr. and Mrs. D. P. – 2004
Two of the homeowners and one tenant decided to challenge the City and hired Schnitker Law Office, P.A. We aggressively pursued claims and beat the City and obtained in excess of $30,000.00 in payments for theses persons.
Rural MN – 2004
As of October 12, 2004, Schnitker Law Office, P.A. has obtained over $120,000.00 for these displaced homeowners and business owners.
G.S. Construction, Inc. – 2003
We pursued the claim and after over $400,000.00 was paid an administrative appeal hearing was held that resulted in a total overall claim payment of $558,000.00
