Regretfully I hired this lawyer!!!! I would have been better off getting a public defender or Pro Bono lawyer. He has not given me any legal advise since he's been my lawyer and he shows up unprepared, to court dates with NO legal defense. When I ask for legal advice he has none to offer so, he's get...ting paid just to show up and sit there in my court date. He seems as he doesn't know family law, at all. He returns phone calls when he feels like it and when he does he is always in a rush to get off the phone without any plan of action or resolution. He acts as if I am bothering him because I am asking him for the legal advice that I paid to get, and still haven't got. He says he's always busy in a conference it must be with new paying clients because he hasn't had anytime for me and doesn't even remember my name or case when he does call back. The other person I was fighting against in court, didn't even have a lawyer and seems to get more respect from the judge than Mr. Kaminsky. He is set back in time he doesn't know how to email or anything that has to do with a computer, which is an inconvenience to drive or wait for snail mail . His lack of not knowing how to use the computer also shows that he doesn't know how to do research online, which could be vital to your case, or know how to quickly access laws that may be available to lawyers online.This also shows his unwillingness to take classes to upgrade his skills and or knowledge. He uses an old tape recorder, like in the old movies, as if he's still in the 80's. When he came to court he had my paper work in an old manila folder. He didn't electronically file my info just in case a fire or any other natural disaster was to happen in his office. If you hire this lawyer you will be wasting your time and money and possibly losing whatever it is your fighting for in court. He doesn't even realize how now-a-days, people can give reviews and that eventually taking client's money and giving poor quality or no service, will catch up to him!!! I am now looking for a real lawyer and want to save anyone else their valuable time, money and anything else you're fighting for in court.

I used Mr. Kaminsky for my divorce a few years back and was disappointed from the beginning. He did a great job of taking my money and that was it. On the date in which we were set to go to court for trial he acted more like the other attorney than my own and sub-sequentially talked me out of my righ...ts to joint legal custody of my children. He has been dis-barred for fraudulently signing a clients name in the late 80's and did the same my divorce. Mr. Kaminsky told me in court that I would be able to review the terms of the divorce agreement prior to a final decision being made only to receive the decree in the mail several months later. He missed several court appearances and was very unprofessional in front of my mother stating "you stuck your %#&# in her you should have chosen different". Several times he referred to the child custody system as stacked against me and I was never going to win (all be it h stated this ell after he collected his fee and just before trial). I have tried to give him the opportunity to correct this issue over the past few years only to hear promises with no action. I would recommend Mr. Kaminsky for any one I opposed in court as I feel they would make my case so much easier to win otherwise I feel Mr. Kaminsky should have been disbarred a very long time ago for good. He is a very good example as to why the legal system in his state is deemed such a failure nationally.
