Biography
Char finds consumer protection to be rewarding as she assists clients to understand and address their financial needs and to overcome challenges. As an experienced consumer rights litigator, Char makes it possible for clients to regain control of their financial situation.
Char is also skilled at working with those nearing retirement and those living on a fixed income. Oftentimes, this under-serviced demographic is unclear as to their rights and has difficulty finding excellent representation. She has a knack for putting her clients at ease and making the process understandable and less stressful.
Whether handling estate planning, family law or bankruptcy cases, Char believes that every family deserves high quality representation at reasonable prices. This commitment to families contributed to the structuring of Char's practice as one that focuses on the people she serves along with their specific legal needs.
Before opening Hunter Martin, PLLC, Char worked as a judicial clerk and an associate attorney. Char currently serves as a volunteer bankruptcy attorney through the Volunteer Lawyers Network. In her free time, Char enjoys gardening, photography, hiking and spending time with her husband.
