The federal hold suggests there are pending federal charges. On his release date, he will probably be transferred to federal custody.
I just need to know with the new law for federal inmates is it 65% or is it still 85%?

Assuming good behavior, federal inmates serve 85% of their sentences. There has been no change to 65%.
