Unbelievably horrible representation!

I hired Jane Van Valkenburg at the end of my Custody Establishment case for the trial only. She asked for a $5000 retainer and because there was only about a month to prepare for trial she told me she would be asking for a continuance to allow for negotiations and preparation of possible trial. Whe...n the court denied the motion to continue the trial Jane told me she was going to ask the court to reconsider and then she was going to withdraw as my lawyer with hopes of preserving an appeal. She did withdraw 2 days before trial which left me completely in the dark and set to represent myself Pro Se in the trial of my life( establishing custody of my 2 1/2 year old). Jane withheld all of the paperwork and evidence submitted to her by the opposing attorney. I went into that trial alone with no idea how much of my $5000 retainer was to be returned and no evidence or information from the the opposing attorney. Jane actually called my phone leaving a message while I was in court fighting that trial Pro Se. I can’t believe this woman has a law practice. She was so unprofessional with no compassion or concern for her clients case.
