Joseph Anthony Levitt

I'm a business attorney who is client-focused, results-driven, and thouroughly enjoys "the process."  Licensed to Practice Law in Minnesota, I am also a published author on the topic of Public Benefit Corporations in Minnesota.

I bring a breadth of international and local business experience to the legal industry. I have worked abroad in Prague, Czech Republic teaching legal and business English at multinational corporations such as Philips, Abbott Laboratories and O2, international law firms and local Czech businesses.  My entrepreneurial success operating a language and consulting studio in a foreign country sets him apart from other attorneys, as I understand many of the issues and concerns facing startups and aspiring entrepreneurs. Despite my consulting background, I am not one to tell a client how to run their business. Rather, I present legal analysis, recommendations and options that allows the client to make a well-reasoned decision.  I also write articles - scholaryl, legal, practical and funny.

My practice is focused on business law and litigation, corporate governance, commercial transactions, and non-profit organizations. 

I enjoy hockey, baseball, football, and spending as much time on the lake as possible.
