Grim Daniel Howland

Grim Howland has been successfully building a litigation practice since joining Lindell & Lavoie, LLP in 2009. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College, holds a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota, and is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law. Prior to joining the firm, he was primarily a defense lawyer practicing in the areas of catastrophic injury defense and construction defect litigation. Now his practice is exclusively plaintiffs’ personal injury and workers’ compensation. His superb communication skills and empathetic nature contribute to his success as an advocate. Grim’s scholarly and thorough approach to litigation, and dogged representation of his clients have rightly earned him the respect of his opponents and the esteem of his clients.

In 2012-2014, Grim was selected as a Minnesota “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. This accolade is awarded to only 2.5 percent of practicing attorneys in Minnesota who are either under 40 years old or have been practicing for less than 10 years.  Grim is also selected as a “Top 100 Trial Lawyer” in 2014.

Like other members of the firm, Grim is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and camping.
