Luis Zuriel Angeles

I am an immigration attorney with hands-on experience arguing before immigration courts, drafting pre-hearing briefs, filing asylum applications, and preparing motions for Bond Redetermination. I leverage strong analytical and writing skills to navigate complex legal scenarios. My proficiency extends to evaluating evidence, applying relevant laws and regulations, and reading and understanding decisions from immigration judges, informed by my previous role as a Remote Fraud Investigator and Hearing Officer.

Educated at UIC Law School, I held leadership roles with the Student Bar Association, Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, and Latinx Law Student Association. These experiences sharpened my legal acumen and strengthened my passion for the immigrant community, as evidenced by my volunteer work with Instituto Del Progreso Latino.

In addition to my specialized work in immigration law, I have navigated the fields of corporate compliance and unemployment investigation, adding depth and breadth to my legal expertise.

Fluent in Spanish, I take pride in bridging language barriers and ensuring access to legal resources for diverse clients. I am also a fellow at the Foundation for Economic Education's Hazlitt Project and possess valuable technology skills.
