My focus is estate planning for families who have a child with a disability. Estate plans for families affected by disability often require a supplemental needs trust or special needs trust. I also draft Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives.

I help parents and caregivers obtain guardianship for individuals who have disabilities. Depending on the situation, there may not be any fees.

I routinely draft supplemental needs trusts and special needs trusts, and I have experience resolving issues related to trusts that may interfere with an individual's eligibility for social security benefits and Medical Assistance.

This is a growing area of my practice. I only provide services to parents who have a child with a disability. Services include acting as lead counsel, though most often I act as co-counsel to ensure that the dissolution decree properly addresses issues related to disability.
