Drake represented my ex in a custody battle even though Drake is his first cousin. Drake being my ex’s first cousin knew without doubt that my ex has been very mentally unstable, abusive, and dangerous since he was a teen. Drake stood by his cousin though and together they petitioned a generous paren...ting time schedule for my ex and no child support payments either! This is odd given I was not able to get Drakes cousin to share any parenting responsibilities prior to our court date making me the only care taker at the time of the hearing. Drake knew fighting for the rights of putting an infant with a documented, record having active abuser 50% of the time who suffered ongoing severe psychosis and mental illness wasn’t in the best interest of my child but he wasn’t going to let his little cousin get the outcome our family deserved. Drake looked me in the eyes at the court house and told me the only person who dosent have to tell the truth in court is the lawyer. He intimidated me verbally which I don’t think is standard procedure…. Because of the 50/50 parenting time split countless physical abuses have been inflicted on me in front of my son by Drakes cousin. I was strangled the other day by Drakes cousin and I was punched in the face in front of my son by drakes cousin. I know this man has 0 integrity so I’m sure he’d make a good defense attorney. He will negligently and recklessly endanger others for the benefit of his clients. I had to call the police when Drakes cousin strangled me because I was terrified for my life. I believed him when he said he was going to kill me. So now the question is, when I file this order of protection and motion to revisit the child custody order will Drake take his cousins case back on. Will he again try to secure disproportionally even more rights to his cousin in regards to custody when he knows how sick and dangerous his cousin really is? I doubt Drake would afford this amount of unprofessionalism and moral negligence to a case that’s not a potential conflict of interest but hey if he does Roll this loose with all his clients this guy is the king of criminal defense cases that require a slimey self proclaimed liar to represent clients with out the presence of pesky integrity. I’m literally shocked this person can represent a strangler and argue that they deserve more time with helpless kids.

Drake Metzger did a superb job on my somewhat complex case and was able to secure the best outcomes possible in the circumstances. The minute he agreed to take on my case, I felt tremendous support, comfort, and ease. It was like having your older brother helping you to deal with the bullies on the s...treet! Drake sets clear and realistic expectations and does not make overly or "padded" promises, and he's 100% committed to you. During the final stage of pre-trial and at trial, my case was extremely high-paced, involving a series of quick but consequential decisions; and Drake was thinking on his feet and was a fountain of ideas and tactics. He is very articulate and convincing when arguing your case. His witness questioning skills are superb. At trial, he would get to the crust of an argument, corner the witnesses for the prosecution with cogent, tough questions, and set up his questioning scheme in a way that would lead to the desired implications for the defense. He would come up with an in-depth 360-degree analysis of all the evidence and facts from various viewpoints, including the defendant, the judge and the prosecutor, and he would provide a most helpful and sincere piece of advice. Drake is a talented negotiator, constantly interacting with the prosecution and making timely and effective motions to the judge in the interest of the client--that's what he did for me and Boy was he helpful!

This lawyer was empathetic and proactive. He was always available for questions, and had quick responses to missed calls. His knowledge of law was interpreted well, making it easy to understand the process of everything. He was always willing to discuss issues and was honest through the entire proces...s. Overall, great experience given the circumstances of needing a defense lawyer.

Drake was able to see me within a day of me contacting him, he was professional and available through the entire process, and most importantly he was available and replied to voicemail as soon as he possibly could. Got me a pretty good deal all things considered as well. Fingers crossed I don't need ...his services again but I would highly recommend him to anyone!
