I am a retired United States bannkruptcy judge, having served on the bench in the Minnesota Bankruptcy Court for nearly 30 years, from February 1984 to July 2013. I served as Chief Judge from 1993 to 2000, and represented the Eighth Circuit bankruptcy judges as a board member of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges from 1993 to 1996. I presently practice law as Of Counsel to Manty & Associates in the area of bankruptcy, specializing in counselling attorneys and their clients, mediation, and general debtor/creditor matters.
