As an attorney on Nichols Kaster’s wage and hour employment litigation team, Jonathan brings a tireless energy to protecting the rights of employees. He focuses on complex class action litigation and currently works on several cases on behalf of employees who have been unfairly and unlawfully denied earned commissions by their employers, representing thousands of employees nationwide.
Jonathan has been committed to fighting for the little guy his entire career. As a law student he was the student director of the University of Minnesota’s Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, where he successfully represented numerous clients seeking asylum in the United States. He worked on a class action in the University of Minnesota’s Civil Practice Clinic, representing homeowners from different Minneapolis neighborhoods whose property taxes were artificially inflated. While in school, Jonathan was elected as the Editor-in-Chief of the Minnesota Journal of International Law. Jonathan also clerked for the Advocates for Human Rights, and for the Judges’ Chambers at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Prior to joining Nichols Kaster, Jonathan was a Legal Fellow for Judge William H. Koch and clerked at Wilson Law Group.
