As a principle of the Coleman Law Firm, I represent and advise clients—architects, engineers, building owners as well as concrete contractors and suppliers—in all aspects of construction law. I’ve been involved in both litigation and arbitration of large complex construction cases, as well as more limited disputes. I’m a licensed structural engineer with more than 30 years experience as a practicing attorney. My book Legal Issues in Concrete Construction has been called an “invaluable publication for concrete industry designers, suppliers, and contractors.” It discusses the legal and technical issues in 150 cases in plain English—as I do with my clients—so you don’t have to be a lawyer or engineer to understand.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me traveling Minnesota and the world, fishing, hunting or peddling my bike. I have a lifetime involvement with the Boy Scouts and currently serve on the Northern Star Council Board of Directors.
