Freya E. Vieira

Freya Vieira is an associate attorney at Groshek Law who knows exactly what it takes to fight for someone’s freedom. She has built a career on a solid foundation of human rights and public defense, starting with her legal studies in Bristol and Belfast before coming to the University of St. Thomas. Freya isn’t intimidated by the courtroom, she spent years as a public defender handling a massive volume of cases, moving from misdemeanors all the way up to the felony division. She has been responsible for countless successful trials and contested hearings, proving time and again that she is a fierce advocate for her clients. What sets Freya apart is her combination of high-level academic skills in criminal justice and her real-world, "boots on the ground" experience in the Minnesota legal system. She approaches every client with genuine compassion and a determination to ensure their voice is heard. Outside of work, Freya is a foodie who loves trying new restaurants in the Twin Cities with her dog, Georgia.
